About Sonny
Sonny's insights on human nature have been honed through true life experience. He grew up on a hillside farm in Appalachia.
Later he served 20 years as an officer in the U.S. Army, including Infantry, Quartermaster, Veterinary, Paratrooper, and Green Beret duty. Presently Sonny is a practicing veterinarian, a professional speaker, and a published poet.
He speaks fluent Spanish, and has worked throughout Central and South America. Sonny's entire life has been spent giving and sharing with others. For a month each year since 1986, he has performed voluntary veterinary work in the jungles of Panama.
International Achievements:
- Emergency disease diagnostic work in Ecuador and Nicaragua.
- Veterinary consultant to the Ambassador of Peru during massive earthquake disaster in 1970.
- Instructor in Spanish and English in Panama, Argentina, and Brazil.
